Extended Learning
Programs Beyond the Regular School Day
The Unity Center for Urban Technologies offers extended day care options and a Saturday Academy for students and families who want additional instructional time. These programs complement the core academic day and are designed to help students stay on track toward their academic and career goals.
Because the school serves approximately 250 students, faculty, staff, and administration are able to work closely with each student, and that same close attention carries through the extended day and Saturday Academy offerings.
Extended Day Care
Extended day care gives students a supervised place to be after the regular instructional day ends. The program is built around safety, structured routines, and academic support so that families have dependable coverage while students complete their work and build study habits.
- Supervised time beyond the standard school day
- Opportunity to complete and review assignments
- Steady routines and a supportive adult presence
Saturday Academy
Saturday Academy adds additional instructional time on Saturdays. Sessions focus on reinforcing core skills, giving students more practice with the material they are working on, and opening up a smaller amount of time for individualized attention.
- Extra practice and small-group attention
- Support for students working to close academic gaps
- Additional time on Saturdays during the school year
